We have added another video to our Chinese Drywall Video Series on YouTube.
In this video, Eric talk’s about what to look for to determine whether or not you might have Chinese Drywall in your home. Before calling a Chinese drywall inspector you can use these steps to get a good idea of whether or not you have a Chinese drywall problem. A Chinese drywall inspection, and Chinese drywall testing, may still be required, but you’ll have a good basis to start from.
Over the next few weeks, we will be adding new videos as we walk you step-by-step through a Chinese Drywall project we are currently working on in Tampa.
The series will include all the stages of a Chinese Drywall remediation project, including home preparation, salvage, evidence documentation and preservation, demolition and remediation (cleaning), off-gassing and finally, rebuilding. The video link can be found here: Tampa Chinese Drywall – Does My Home Have Chinese Drywall?
Here’s the new video:
We are a Florida state licensed Certified Building Contractor (CBC1255041) experienced in Chinese Drywall remediation and reconstruction. We are insured and carry additional insurance required for Chinese Drywall remediation projects.
When working on a Chinese Drywall project, we follow published recommendations by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Florida Division of Environmental Health (FDEH), and U.S. District Judge Eldon Fallon. These guidelines offer a protocol for licensed contractors to follow when identifying and removing Chinese drywall.
We will work closely with you and your attorney to document and preserve physical evidence while potential litigation is pending. We methodically follow Judge Fallon’s protocol on the duties and obligations for the preservation of physical evidence.
