Welcome back to our blog! It’s been awhile since we’ve last updated our website and unfortunately, we’ve let it gather a bit too much dust. It’s time to spruce things up and update on you on where we’ve been and what the future holds.

Since our last update, we’ve built several large-scale custom homes in Hillsborough County. (See them HERE)

We are currently finishing up on two more projects in Odessa— one a 5,550 square foot Tuscan-style home on Keystone Lake and the other a sprawling 8000 sq ft Modern Prairie-style home on 9 acres.

On a personal front, we purchased a home on 5 acres in Dade City.  While we loved the location, the house was in need of some major TLC. The crawl space had a massive amount of ground water intrusion which unfortunately, had been ignored for years causing the floor trusses to completely rot through. We fixed the water issue and then gutted the entire home. It was a massive renovation, but turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made. This brings me to my next point.

My wife and I have completely fallen in love with the rolling hills and serene environment of Dade City and the nearby areas of San Antonio, Zephyrhills, and Brooksville. Our love for this area is what brought about our recent decision to bring our custom design-build services closer to home.

While we will continue to build in Hillsborough, we plan to shift more focus up towards Pasco and Hernando. In fact, we are starting a new project in Brooksville – a custom 5000 sq ft French Country home on 43 acres.

As we know, Pasco and Hernando are undergoing significant development, attracting new businesses and residents by the day. While this growth is unavoidable, many of us have mixed feelings and worry about losing the rural charm that makes our area special. This uneasiness is understandable as high-density developments continue to pop up around us at an alarming rate. Many of you have voiced concern over nameless, faceless developers squeezing as many houses as they can get away with on what used to be open fields and cow pastures.

As a Pasco County resident first and Home Builder second, that’s not who we are. Our plan is to continue to focus on building thoughtful and unique custom homes that respect the landscape and the lifestyle of our community. Our commitment has always been to the design and quality of each individual home, not to the number of units we can produce quickly to make a profit.

We aim to serve those, who like us, value the tranquility of country living with the amenities of a custom-built new home. Growth is inevitable, but we’d rather do it one unique house at a time rather than build communities crammed full of cookie-cutter houses.

We look forward to building quality homes AND lasting relationships within Dade City and the surrounding areas. Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, feel free to reach out to us with any questions or ideas. We’d love to hear from you!
